Price of Commission 

​

1. Our base price for a single full body character with a simple background is $250. This includes digital files with full commercial use and a 8x10 inch print.

​

2. Additional characters, animals, more complex backgrounds, multiple versions (color and black & white) cost extra. We are referring to extras in the same drawing. If you are wanting multiple separate drawings, each drawing will start at the base price of $250.

3. Message us for a more accurate quote on your project. 

 

Process of Commission

​

1. When Commissions are open, message us on our website or instagram with your idea. 

 

2. We will give you a quote on how much your project will cost and give you a start date. Sometimes we will be booked for multiple months before your start date. 

 

3. We will set up a private listing for you on our website. All commissions must be purchased within 48 hours after we notify you the listing is active. If you don't purchase within 48 hours we will remove your listing and no longer hold your spot. We cannot guarantee your commission date until after purchase. We require full payment before we secure your commission date.

4. After purchase, you can send reference pictures and details through our contact form or through messages on Instagram. We will contact you on our discussed commission start date. You have one week to send reference and get in touch with us. If you do not send reference or contact us within one week after your start date, you will get refunded 50% of your purchase price and your commission will be canceled. The 50% we keep pays for the commissions we lost while holding your spot.

5. You will have the option to make changes to the initial sketch before the inking and coloring process. You can make up to three changes for the sketching process and one change to the completed version. If you are still not satisfied with the drawing, you will get refunded 50% of your purchase price. The 50% we keep pays for our drawing time. Once you accept the completed drawing, you will no longer be able to make changes to the drawing.

6. Commissions generally take about 2 to 4 weeks from your start date to complete. We cannot guarantee commission completion times, due to the possibility of multiple changes to the drawing. 

 

7. After you accept the completed drawing, we will email you digital files and mail you a 8x10 inch print. We will not make additional changes to the drawing once you have approved the final piece. The print production takes 3 to 5 days, then it will ship from our printing company. We only post a select handful of commissions to our social media. Please let us know your Instagram/Twitter accounts if you are okay with us posting your commission.

Additional Details

 

- You have full commercial rights to the files of your commission, which means you can use the designs on the web, or for resale of merchandise (apparel, stickers, prints, etc).

- We only draw in raster and not vector.

- We use a 8x10 inch canvas at 500dpi. Let us know if you need different sizes. 

- We can send JPEG and PNG files. 

- We can send three different versions of your file: vintage background, white background (for diecut stickers) and no background (for apparel). No extra cost if you want all three.

- All prints we send of your commission are 8x10 inch gallery-quality art prints on watercolor cold press 100% cotton rag archival paper, printed with archival inks.

By purchasing a commission you are agreeing to the following terms:

3. We work in raster and not vector. This is usually only an issue for tshirt printing. Make sure to check with your production company before purchasing. 

4. We send a 8x10inch canvas at 500dpi. We can send a vintage background, white background, and no background. We send JPEG and PNG files.
